BMW did us the courtesy of releasing some info about the upcoming BMW F80 M3 and F82 M4. Even though the information isn't complete, we at least know where it will stand performance-wise.
The exterior of the two cars will most likely be similar to the M4 Concept that was unveiled at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concurs d'Elegance but there was one area that remained almost completely in the dark up until now, the interior.
We now have some spyshots of the cabin of the M3 too, thanks to some very good spyshots taken in China. As you can see in the gallery below, the overall design is basically a typical M3, just as it was in the past.
The seats are leather-wrapped and have a distinctive M emblem on them, right under the headrest that is connected to the seat. The steering wheels seems basically the same, whilst the iDrive screen and the center console look just like in a 3 Series.
Sure, you'll get to add carbon fibre, aluminum or even different leather colors inside the cabin later on, through the wide range of optional features BMW offers. but for now, we'll just have to settle with this black/grey interior that looks kind-of dull.
The cars will make their official debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2014.
