Just as everyone expected, German manufacturer Alpina didn't wait too long before starting work on a new model, the B4 Bi-Turbo. The car will be based on the BMW 4 Series and will probably be the closest thing to the M4 until the F82 model will be unveiled.
Seeing just how good their take on the 3 Series was, creating a beast of a car that could take on the E90 M3 at any time, we can't wait to see what the B4 is capable of.
Our latest spyshots caught the new car testing on the Nurburgring putting what we think is the same engine from the B3 Bi-Turbo model, to the test. That unit delivers 410 HP and 600 Nm of torque out of 3-liters of displacement and using 2 turbochargers.
Considering that the Sedan does 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds, picture this car doing the same sprint in around 4 seconds for the RWD model and even less for the AWD one.
