Audi must have tried too hard to incorporate the design lines from the Q7 full-size SUV into the Q5 to notice they’ve made it quite ugly. There’s nothing that can cure its bland design, but the Ingolstadt automaker is sure to try its best to hide it with a facelift that will target the lights and grille.
The biggest difference, as you can see from these latest spyshots of the Q5 test car spotted in Sweden, is that the grille will become hexagonal, just like the new A4.
Though this likely isn’t it, judging by the exhaust, the Audi Q5 will also have a performance model in the range, powered by the same supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with 333 hp as found in the S4 and S5.
Expect the Q5 facelift to show its new wavy headlights and fresh grille later this year.
