This year’s Valentine’s Day will be special for Japanese fans of the MINI brand. That’s because BMW decided to launch a limited-run Countryman model especially for this holiday.
The car will be called “Valentine Road” and will have a special interior and exterior design to make you feel ‘loved’. Of course, the price tag will also be special for the limited-run models: JPY3.4 million for the Cooper Countryman and JPY3.7 million for the Cooper S version.
Both models will be fitted with the 6-speed automatic gearbox and will have plenty of optional features on them such as bi-xenon headlights with black reflectors, 17 inch black 5-double-spoke alloys, black carbon fibre mirror caps and a new front grille badge. The seats have a completely new design, the side bolsters being done in black leather while the rest is covered in Pure Red cloth.
The exterior will be done in a MINI exclusive paint, Light Coffee, while the roof will be completely black, to match the wheels. If you live in Japan and you're interested in these exclusive models, you should know that they will go on sale on February 1, giving you plenty of time to order one of the 135 units for your girlfriend/boyfriend/valentine.
