Soleil Anadi Debuts at Top Marques Show

It’s a well known fact that the Top Marques Show in Monaco is the scene were most of the world’s exotic supercars show their face in public for the first time. Therefore it shouldn't come as a surprise that Dutch designer group Ugur Sahin Design have seized the opportunity to present their latest masterpiece, the Soleil Anadi, in the Principality.

The car is based on the automaker’s 2007 Z03 Corvette Concept, but with a different style approach. Judging by the looks of the car, it seems like this Corvette based model is ready for production.

The front of the car has a shark inspired nose and sculptured flanks that gives the whole body an aggressive and mean look. The car is believed to go into limited production and at this moment there isn’t any information about production numbers or price.

There are a couple of reasons why the automaker chose the Corvette chassis, the first one being it’s low cost compared to other frames. As a consequence of that, the Soleil Anadi retail price is low and therefore accessible. Axel van Mourik, co-founder of Ugur Sahin Design, was stunned by Corvette’s track records in motorsport and this fact was decisive in choosing the Americans' chassis.

The car is basically a modified Corvette with an aluminum and carbon fiber bodywork. The engine develops 650 hp and Ugur Sahin Design said they can build the Soleil Anadi on the Z06 or ZR1 platforms.

The automaker hopes that a good feedback over the Soleil Anadi will make it a desired car within the potential customers. Therefore, they hope to gain enough orders from clients in order to make this dream car a road going reality.
