Normally we don't post Mercedes-Benz reviews that aren't made by professional automotive journalists and car media, but today we're going to make an exception mainly thanks to the car involved.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is currently the fastest three-pointed star road-going model if we're excluding the limited edition of the even more bonkers SLS AMG Black Series.

Powered by the legendary M159, normally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that's been developed and built entirely by AMG, the GT version of the SLS AMG has an output of 591 hp (583 bhp) and 650 Nm (479 lb ft) of torque.

This enables the modern “Flügeltürer” (Gullwing in German) to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in just 3.7 seconds, after which it can reach an electronically-limited top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

The test drive it got from the New York Daily News doesn't give the most detailed opinions about what's it's like to drive the AMG beast but it's a rather nice read anyway, providing you put the whole thing into context and don't forget we're not talking about a car magazine. You can read the whole review here.
