The 992 incarnation of the Porsche 911 won't reach its owners until next year, but the Internet is already dreaming of modding the Neunelfer. For now, we can only rely on renderings and we've brought along a simple one.
This pixel play portrays a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera (4)S, the only model released to date, which had been gifted with a lowering suspension. As such, the rear-engined toy now rides uber-close to the asphalt, with this being perfectly suitable for the track day pose we have here.

Speaking of circuit shenanigans, we'll mention three of the options fitted to this particular car, which go perfectly well with the circuit use.

We'll start with the banana-colored brake calipers, which signal the presence of PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes). These not only come with superior fading resistance, but also lower unsprung mass.

The massive, oval tailpipes mean the machine is fitted with the optional Sports Exhaust, as the standard hardware features four round tailpipes. Then there's the chronograph on the dashboard, which signals the presence of the Sport Chrono Package, a piece of kit that allows the driver to make the most out of the sportscar's potential.

Speaking of track adventures, the German automotive producer let it slip that the 992 is five seconds quicker on the Green Hell compared to the car it replaces, at least in the case of the Carrera (4)S.

This means the 450 hp model can blitz the infamous German track in 7:25 and it's safe to say that the Neunelfer punches into supercar territory.

However, next year we might get to meet the 992 911 GT3. Still animated by a naturally aspirated flat-six, the newcomer will pack significantly updated aerodynamics, so we might just see it diving under the 7-minute barrier. For the record, we'll mention the current 911 GT3 needs 7:12.7 to play the Nordschleife game.

It’s that time again! Here’s another 992 photoshop for today’s installment of #SlammedSaturday! #dropitlikeitshot % #TeamChampion #ChampionPorsche #ChampionMotorsport #HowWeDo #porsche
