A few weeks ago we had the chance to test drive the Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG and we were naturally more than flabbergasted with the car's performance and exclusivity.
Its biggest quality was probably the fact that it can do so may things so well, kind of like the automotive equivalent of a Jack of all trades and a master of many.

About this time last year, we also managed to get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster, which obviously conquered our hearts with its epic soundtrack and its looong hood.

Looking at the two, you'd think that the SLS AMG is the most expensive roadster in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, but you'd be wrong, actually.

That prize goes to the SL 65 AMG, which sports the torquiest production V12 engine on the planet.

The six-liter, twin-turbocharged twelve-cylinder under the hood is good for no less than 630 (621 bhp) and an electronically-controlled 1,000 Nm (738 lb ft) of torque, or just about enough to power a freight train.

The Canadians from Autos went for a spin in the most powerful Mercedes-Benz roadster in history and came back with a rather nicely-written review about their experience.
