Not long after Volkswagen revealed the five-door version of the Up! city car, Skoda comes with its own Citigo 5-door which will soon hit the domestic market.
As you’d expect, you won’t learn much from the photo themselves, since the Citigo and the Up! five-door are identical with the exception of the bumpers and grille. The Skoda model can actually be considered a looker compared to the VW, since it has a big grille unlike the German version that looks like it’s an EV.
The 5-door version of the Citigo will make its show debut in just a bit over one month at the Geneva Motor Show in March. It will be available on the European market in May, powered by a the new 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine producing either 60 or 75 hp. In the Skoda Citigo, this will translate into economy figures of 4.1-liters combined and CO2 emissions of just 96 g/km.
