Czech automaker Skoda has released a couple of teaser shots featuring the Rapid Spaceback model, or the hatchback version of the car we already know and is difficult to class.
Scheduled to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Rapid Spaceback should arrive with the same engines as the sedan. with production to commence next month. No other details are known at the time of writing, but we also have a set of spyshots besides the two teaser photos you’ll find below.
Possible Skoda Rapid Spaceback engine lineup:
• A 1.6-liter TDI with 90 HP (66 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW)
• A 1.2-liter MPI three-cylinder with 75 HP (55 kW)
• A 1.2-liter TSI four-cylinder with 86 HP (63 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW)
• A 1.4-liter TSI with 122 HP (90 kW)
