The Japanese automaker Toyota was one of the most sedulous automotive companies in the world last year. After all, they are trying to keep their place as the largest carmaker in the world and dethrone GM in America simultaneously.
As such, there is no wonder that the US market got a lot of attention over the past twelve months with new and glorious stuff like the Corolla Cross Hybrid, lots and lots of Nightshade special editions, a trio of GR limited series (GR86 Trueno, GR Corolla Circuit, GR Supra 45th Anniversary), plus superstars like the 2024 Grand Highlander and N400 Tacoma mid-size pickup truck.

The latter has finally hit the nationwide dealership network during the final days of December with the base powertrain, so Toyota still has quite a big bunch of launches to take care of – the 2024 Tacoma i-Force Max, the 2024 Land Cruiser (Prado or 250 in different regions) also with the 326-hp hybrid powertrain or stuff like the 2025 Camry mid-size sedan and 2025 Crown Signia crossover SUV that were presented during the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

Will this be enough to satisfy the thirst of Toyota fans? Probably not, if you ask the imaginative realm of digital car content creators or the rumor mill. As such, speculations run rampant about potential new models like the next-gen 4Runner, a compact Land Cruiser FJ, revivals of the Stout compact pickup truck, plus the MR2 and/or Celica sports cars, among many others.

However, we are not here to discuss these slim chances. Instead, this time, the parallel universes of vehicular CGI only want to talk about another best-selling nameplate – Toyota's compact RAV4. The inventor of the ultra-popular compact crossover SUV sector is currently in its fifth iteration since 2018, so no one will be surprised if the Japanese company announces its successor as soon as possible, especially since the mid-cycle refresh was already performed for the 2021/2022MY.

More precisely, the peeps over at the Q Cars channel on YouTube have asked their resident pixel master to imagine what comes next – complete with a novel EV powertrain to make the bZ4X ashamed of its quirky nature. But if you don't want the RAV4 as an entirely zero-emissions member of the EV pack, you're in luck.

Just recently, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube, who have a satellite venue dubbed AutoYa Interior, and that's where all the (CGI) RAV4 action occurs – from inside-out, have also cooked their hypothetical impression of the 2025 Toyota RAV4. Only that their digital vision is a little different, not just more colorful – this isn't an all-new sixth-generation CUV but rather a second facelift. So, which one is your favorite?
