Sirius to Broadcast Daytona 500 Live

Being the Official Satellite Radio Partner of NASCAR, Sirius NASCAR Radio will broadcast live the Daytona 500 race starting the Daytona International Speedway Special edition of "Tony Stewart Live", on February 11, on Channel 128.

On Sunday, February 14, Sirius will begin the 15 hours of live coverage broadcast at 7 AM. The broadcast will be complete with plus full pre- and post-race coverage with expert analysis, reports from pit road and the garages, driver introductions and interviews with the race winner and other competitors.

The Sunday race will see Hendrick Motorsports' Mark Martin starting from pole, after he became the oldest driver in the history of the Daytona 500 to snatch such a position in a point-scoring Sprint Cup event. The rest of the provisional Top 10 includes Ryan Newman, Bill Elliott, Juan Montoya, Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon.

For all those of you who still haven't had enough of Danica Patrick, the Go Daddy girl will also be attending Daytona, behind the wheel of the JR Motorsports' No. 7 Chevrolet. It will be her first official NASCAR appearance, with an additional 10 to follow this season.

“To be the one driving that Go Daddy car at Daytona means a lot to me," Patrick said after the ARCA race. "The ARCA race was a blast, and I'm not ready for my first Daytona Speedweeks to end just yet. I want more racing,”
