We’ve yet to really hear Aston Martin’s business case for the little Toyota iQ twin. But we suppose that with the stringent emissions regulations imposed by the EU on automakers, there was no way around the problem. And so, we’re stuck with the Cygnet, but what is it good for?
A short film shot by Khurrum M. Sultan, a London Film School student, as part of his final year project answers almost all of our questions. It starts with a young gentlemen who’s as sharply dressed as the car making it abundantly clear this is a car for posh people.
It seems he’s going to pick up a stylish girlfriend, who like many women these days has too much attitude. But wait! What’s this, is he driving off into with the Cygnet because there’s no compromising when it comes to women’s demeanor? Of course not, he’s just the valet and it’s her car.
The point here is that this is the best luxury vehicle for really congested cities. It looks good, sounds better than it should and offers plenty of ‘special’ sauce.
