Shelby American will open a new state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 1, 2013, the high-performance company announced earlier this week.
The new 135,000 square-foot facility, located near the McCarran International Airport, will house all operations under one roof compared to the current factory that comprises five buildings, each housing different phases of production. According to Shelby, the new global headquarters will combine the entire production process and Speed Shop with a historic Shelby museum, gift shop and factory tours.

“Shelby American is gearing up for global expansion,” said John Luft, president of Shelby American. “The decision to move operations into our new headquarters is consistent with what Carroll did many times in the past. Our new facility allows us to be more nimble and accessible to our customers, while dramatically improving production and operational efficiency.”

The company is planning a grand opening event later this year, but details have yet to be released.
