While her husband and famous rock star Ozzy Osbourne officially admitted he was not a big driver, it would seem the case is different with Sharon, who is often seen driving her German cars around. The TV celebrity and music manager recently took her BMW 7-Series Alpina to “La Conversation,” in California, to take lunch with a friend.
For many years Sharon Osbourne was the person in the backstage that would help her husband become successful once again. But Sharon first made herself noticed as being part of the reality show “The Osbournes.” Later, she was cast as one of the talent judges at the British version of The X Factor, a role she played from 2004 to 2007, and then returned to the show last year.
After the success of “The Osbournes” and “The X Factor,” hosting her own chat shows and securing advertising contracts, Sharon was ranked as the 25th richest woman in Britain on the 2009 Sunday Times Rich List. Among other things, the 61-year old businesswoman is credited with reviving her husband’s heavy metal career by founding the summer Ozzfest tour. As for Sharon’s other cars, besides the BMW, it’s reported she drives around in a black Range Rover.
As a woman of success, Sharon Osbourne also had a lot to do with Ozzy’s life, oftentimes being the stronger person in the family that could cope with the rock star’s drug addiction. In fact, one of the funny stories concerning the Black Sabbath star is related to his sports cars.
It happened last year, after Sharon found out that Ozzy was back on drinking and doing drugs, behind her back. As a revenge, while the rock star got back into rehab, she sold his cars. “I don’t drive very much, although I have a few cars. I bought myself an Audi R8 and a Ferrari. They went when I started drinking again. I came home and Sharon had got rid of them,” Ozzy told Q magazine a couple of months ago.
