American manufacturer Ford announced it is currently preparing several custom-made Fiestas for this year’s SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center between November 2 and 5, 2010.

The automaker will take this opportunity to showcase its wide range of Ford Custom Accessories designed to enhance both the interior and exterior.

Accessory options include items such as an illuminated gear indicator shift knob and rear spoiler, even a kayak carrier to haul outdoor gear. Customers also can order a body-side tattoo, or choose from one of 18 available graphics.

Also, Ford Racing Performance will showcase a tuned Fiesta delivering 350 horsepower from a 2.0-litre EcoBoost engine that has been enlarged to 2.3-litres. Additionally, the car features Brembo brakes and Ohlins dual-flow valve dampers. The car comes equipped with a short-throw shifter, custom exhaust and 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels painted in charcoal grey.

Ford Racing’s Fiesta will arrive in all-blue, painted by a renowned artist during the show with the intention of auctioning the car to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF).

“It really shows how Fiesta can be accessorized and how this canvas can be altered to meet many different customer wants and desires,”
said Sam De La Garza, Fiesta brand manager. “SEMA represents a special opportunity, because we can show off unique designs that other companies have created. It’s not just Ford coming to the table. It’s other companies interpreting what Fiesta is, and bringing their own style to the Fiesta launch.”

Other project vehicles based on the 2011 Ford Fiesta that will be brought to SEMA include custom creations developed by Universal Technical Institute, 3dCarbon, L&G Enterprises, H&R Springs, Steeda Autosports and FSWerks.
