Three Toyota models made their debut on the Indian market at this year’s Auto Expo show in New Delhi.
Starting with the most important one, the Toyota Corolla Altis dropped its covers coming with a new appealing design, more equipment and a nicer interior aiming to attract more younger customers. Basically, it’s the European Corolla sedan we knew from before, but here it comes with the Altis name attached. It will come with two engine choices and three gearbox options.
The second car unveiled was the Toyota Etios Cross, representing the first crossover the automaker launched on the Indian market. Building on the Etios hatchback, the Cross comes with a new front fascia, plastic molding on all sides, skid plates, roof rails and a higher suspension. Power will be provided by a 1.2-liter and 1.5-liter gasoline engines as well as a 1.4-liter diesel unit.
Last but not least is the Toyota Camry Hybrid powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine aided by an electric motor, totaling 205 PS and offering a 19.16 km/l (5.2 l/100 km or 45 mpg) average fuel consumption.
