The Delhi Auto Expo show also held the unveiling of the new Toyota Corolla Altis for the Indian market today.
The 2014 Corolla Altis is basically the new Toyota Corolla that Europe also got last year, coming with a non-conservative sharper design aimed to attract more young buyers.
Inside the new Corolla Altis follows the same design and uses the same materials from the European Corolla, with the only difference being the steering wheel placed on the right.
The 2014 Corolla Altis will be available with a 1.8-liter VVTi making 138 bhp mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT and a 1.4-liter D4-D diesel putting out 87 bhp that will be mated only to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Prices for the new Corolla Altis will be announced in May when deliveries will start.
