Forget about snakes on a plane (sorry, Mr. Samuel L. Jackson), because this is definitely more terrifying than that: a security guard at the International Airport in Mexico City found a ghost on board one of the deserted planes.
He has video to prove it, too. The incident actually happened in November 2016, but Francisco Hernandez is telling the media (as cited by the Daily Star) that he’s only speaking out now because he’s heard of other similar encounters at the same airport. In other words, he wants those other people experiencing this to know that they’re not crazy.

He would think he was too if he didn’t have video of the encounter. It happened at the end of his shift, at about 3 a.m., when he went on board the empty plane for a security checkup. He had heard doors banging on the aircraft so it was his duty to investigate. As you can imagine, he didn’t really imagine he’d come across a ghost.

The video shows him walking down the cabin and shining his light on the aisle. He reaches the place reserved for supplies and checks it out, together with the toilet. Then, as he heads back into the aisle to leave the plane, he hears a noise and turns to see what caused it. That’s when he spots a dark figure looming in and out of sight at the end of the corridor and he runs away, scared.

“At first I wasn't sure what I was seeing. I whispered to myself “What is this?’ and even took a few steps forward because I thought it could be a trick of the light,” Hernandez explains. “But when it moved back and forth on its own, I knew I wasn't making it up. What I saw that night totally freaked me out and I ran for my life.”

“I've been reluctant to come forward with this story because not many people believe me. But fortunately I recorded the incident so I could play it back and check that I wasn't imagining it,” the man adds. “If I hadn't, I would have doubted what I saw that night myself.”

Here’s the video. It’s grainy and shaken, like you’d expect any decent first-person horror flick to be, and yes, there is something that visibly moves at the end of the aisle. Whether it’s a ghost is anyone’s guess.
