You really can’t ignore the strong presence of the SEAT Leon Sport Coupe. This has always been true for the Leon, but now they’ve made it even prettier and, if you want, you can also have a “Sport Coupe”. We did, so we went out to test the new Leon SC.
We’re in the middle of the city right now and the 140 HP of the 1.4 TSI engine feel like they’re actually more numerous. This is part of a new engine family and you can feel it.

Fuel economy was high on the list of priorities, but you’ll instantly feel that so was the driving enjoyment. The mid-range torque is your best friend here, so you can always be relaxed behind the wheel.

Looks like this thing deserves the FR badges after all - when we first found out that the FR has morphed from the warm hatch version to a trim level, we disagreed. However, like we said, the 140 HP unit is poky enough to go with the badge.

It’s time to talk about the handling now, so let’s make a turn to our SEAT Leon Sport Coupe test drive.
