Scooter Rider Sets a Very Positive Example

The more crowded a city gets, the less room and time its citizens have to move about. One of the ‘rights’ which is being ignored by motorists throughout the world’s large cities is the right to cross the street without fearing getting run over.
This scooter rider stops at a crosswalk, and waits patiently for the lights tot turn green. However, once they do, she does not speed off, without a care in the world - she stops to help an elderly person cross the street, even if it means leaving her scooter in the middle of the road and blocking others’ paths.

It is a shame how motorized vehicles are outweighing their pedestrian counterparts when it comes to ‘importance’ on the road, as while cities may not be particularly car-friendly, they have become much more friendly to cars than to actual people.
