Scooter Fail: Rider Forgets to Brake

One of the great benefits of two-wheeled vehicles is the visibility. You have no obstructions around you, and you can see for miles in every direction (when not sitting on a congested piece of road).
The guy in this video mysteriously fails to brake, even though he was clearly looking ahead. The brakelight comes on way too late for him to even hope of stopping safely (before rear-ending the car in front). We really have no idea why this happened, as scooters don’t have adaptive cruise control which fails - only Volvos get that.

So next time you look in your rear-view mirror and see a scooter powering towards you, don’t panic and brace yourself for impact. The insurance company will take care of the rest.
