Scion Announces iPhone App

Caught in the iPhone app fever that has engulfed the automotive industry, Toyota's division Scion announced today the launch of an application which will allow customers access to the Scion Partners program.

Using this app, owners of iPhone and iPad devices can gain access to the Partners directory to check up on announcements regarding special discounts, events, and news from Scion Partners, the program launched in the summer of last year.

Scion Partners allows customer access to not only the latest goodies from the manufacturer, but also from retailers, restaurants and more. Recently, the service signed retailers Bodega (Boston), Giant Robot (Los Angeles and San Francisco), and Wish (Atlanta), and restaurants Longman & Eagle (Chicago) and AsiaDog (New York).

"We created the Scion Partners program to give our consumers exclusive access to deals and discounts from some of the most coveted retailers, art galleries, record stores, and restaurants across the country," says Jeri Yoshizu, Scion's Promotions Manager.

"The Scion Partners iPhone App gives users even more access, allowing members to get the information they want while on the go, while also letting retailers communicate with their customers and raise awareness for their brand."

The app can be found on the usual channels. After downloading it, users can get discounts from Scion Partners by registering free through the Scion A/V website. Scion will send you via regular mail a physical Scion Partners card which can be used in the participant stores and restaurants to get access to discounts and offers.
