Ryan Seacrest to Promote 2013 Ford Fusion

Ford has big plans for the 2013 Fusion and thus has decided to team up with radio and TV star Ryan Seacrest to promote the vehicle, with the American Idol host set to lead a marketing campaign called “Random Acts of Fusion”.
The campaign will use radio, TV and social media to bring the 2013 Fusion to the US consumers, ahead of the vehicle’s launch, which is scheduled for this fall. The partnership follows the Blue Oval’s indirect relationship with Seacrest, as the carmaker had sponsored American Idol.

“We are taking a completely unique approach to introduce the new Fusion with a transmedia program, launching this transformational vehicle that over-delivers with its distinctive blend of style, intelligence and technology,” said Jim Farley, Ford group vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service.

“Combining social media, entertainment and unexpected consumer experiences will allow us to connect with audiences through every type of media, making Fusion’s profile larger than ever.”
