Not only do Russian driver take part in a lot of accidents (we have posted quite a few here, over the years), they also seem to have a tendency to try to escape their responsibilities, in the event of an accident. In a similar manner to this driver, who was chased by another driver, who was able to get both the number plate and the driver’s face on video.
In this case, however, the driver who causes the accident manages to get away, and he even runs a red light just to make sure nobody is following. The accident itself is caused by the driver’s very stupid decision to drive on straight, from the left-most lane of the road, where other drivers were trying to make a left. He clips a black Kia Sorento, drives in the oncoming lane for a few seconds, then runs a red light and disappears.
We hope, however, that the video provided enough evidence for the police to identify and apprehend the perp.
