Traffic lights are an important part of driving through any city. They are designed to allow everybody to move through the streets in an orderly fashion, as otherwise, intersections would become packed with cars trying to go by and everything would grind to a halt. Add in some trams, buses and trolley buses, as well as trucks, delivery vans, ambulances, cop cars and official convoys - you pretty much get the idea that everything is chaotic anyway.
So, why do people ignore traffic lights? Is it because they want to reach their destination sooner? Are an extra three minutes really worth risking your license, your health or the integrity of your car? We think not. However, there are still those who do not take any of the aforementioned aspects into consideration, like the BMW driver, who clearly runs a red light in this video - very bad move on his part, we say!
Predictably, he ends up causing a massive accident involving two other cars and a van, with one of the cars (possibly a blue Lada) getting simply obliterated in the impact. The driver of the E34 5-Series BMW probably floors the throttle in the hopes that he will make it to the other side in one piece. The crash is made even worse by the fact that because he wasn’t braking at all, this means that the entire inertia of the crash was transferred to the other cars, and the results are plain to see.
