Rolls-Royce has just published its 2013 sales figures and things are looking more than positive. The automaker managed to convince 3,630 customers last year, which means it’s registered its fourth consecutive record. A pretty nice treat considering 2014 is celebrating 110 years of activity this year.
The most notable sales increases were seen in the Middle East (17 percent) and China (11 percent). What’s more, the list of countries that registered strong performance includes Germany, Japan, Qatar and Canada.

China, along with the US, remain its most important markets for Rolls-Royce, followed by the Middle East. Rolls-Royce also enjoyed success on a list of emerging markets including Istanbul, Beirut, Lagos, Hanoi, Perth, Taichung, Queensland
and Perth.

Before you go, there’s one thing we need to bring to your attention. We’ll remind you that Bentley published its sales report for 2013 yesterday, with the company also registering an absolute sales record. With 10,210 cars sold last year, Bentley announced the leadership of the luxury segment.

Well, here we are today, with Rolls-Royce also letting us know it is the leader of the... super-luxury segment. They’ve even given us a definition: “Rolls-Royce confirms leadership of super-luxury segment over Euros 200,000 net.” ($272,000 before tax).

Oh and Rolls-Royce also increased its world network in 2013, opening 15 new dealerships. The company now has 120 dealers and more are scheduled to arrive this year.
