Rolls-Royce Opens Its First Showroom in Malaysia

In the year that marks the centenary of the Spirit of Ecstasy - the figurine famed for its prominent and defining position on the bonnet of every Rolls-Royce - Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is also working on its official network expansion by opening new showrooms across the world.

The latest such facility was inaugurated today in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bringing the total number of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars showrooms in the Asia Pacific region to 18.

The showroom, the first in Malaysia, is owned by Quill Motorcars. The facility spreads over 224 sqm and is large enough to accommodate three Rolls-Royce motor cars, with a lounge that allows customers to configure their car using colour, wood and leather samples from the manufacturing plant at Goodwood, West Sussex.

“We continue to invest in a Malaysian market buoyed by the country’s economic growth and growing appetite for super-luxury cars. Our presence signals our commitment to providing service support for current and future customers, many of whom are new to the brand,” said Paul Harris, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific Regional Director, during the official opening of the showroom.

“Today marks a milestone as Quill Motorcars embarks on its quest to build the Rolls-Royce business in Malaysia.
