In 1977 BMW launched the first ever 7 Series. The German manufacturer was entering the luxury segment and paved the way for a couple of innovations in the automotive field with its new car.
From ECUs to the first automobile fitted with a multimedia control unit (iDrive), internet, navigation system or TV system, the 7 Series was always ahead of its time.

The same year marked yet another great moment: inspired by a series of personal experiences, Roger Waters wrote 'The Wall', an album that would go on to become one of the greatest concerts ever made.

"The Wall" was launched two years later and redefined Pink Floyd's music, just like the 7 Series redefined BMW. The legendary man behind the wall, Roger Waters was treated like a king in Romania, where he had his latest concert, last night.

During his whole stay in the East European country, he had his very own BMW 740d car at his disposal, the only car fitting for such a legendary man, thanks to BMW Romania.
