Riding a motorcycle is a complex thing, and they say you never stop learning it as you’ll always go through different situations that might take you by surprise. This motorcyclist, however, seems to need double the training as one warning wasn’t enough for him to ride slower.
Depending on your skill and bike, you sometimes get a free pass and get out of a hairy situation without any damage. You should be thankful when this happens and try to learn from the experience so you won’t get into the same situation again.

Not this rider, though. Apparently, his commute has a hard corner through the woods which he gets stubborn on riding it knee down. One time, his rear end started slipping and nearly sent him down, but he managed to successfully correct the maneuver and straighten up again, continuing on as if nothing happened.

Of course, this didn’t scare the rider, and he continued to ride the corner in the same manner later on. Only this time he jumped the horse, and low sided, with his bike going straight at the scenery and getting all kinds of damage. The rider escaped with a few bruises thankfully.

According to him, he didn’t touch the brakes and says he wasn’t leaning the bike over farther than it could go. He continues to believe he lowsided because of some fine gravel on the road coming from a driveway on the right.

It does look like the corner is surrounded by driveways, all of them being unpaved. Cars exiting them will carry over the sand/grit on the road, and it only takes one enthusiast biker like this guy for an accident to happen.

The man had the courage to publish this for a reason - learn from his mistake people. Stay within the speed limit on public roads, expect the worse and keep your eyes peeled for any clues the road and scenery might give you on what’s coming up ahead.
