Some believe that custom SUVs are the only place where 30” rims can be seen, but the motorcycling world has its own fair share of extreme tuning. And to make things even better, Ride Wright announces the introduction of its all-new 30” Omega rim, with obvious applications in the bagger segment. We bet that a lot of Electra Glide owners in search of ways to add more bling to their bikes are already frantically looking for Ride Wright’s phone number…
Ride Wright is not the first or the most eccentric manufacturer who shelves 30” wheels. Misfit Industries, Metalsport or even European names such as Rick’s Motorcycles in Baden-Baden, Germany are also dealing with these extremes. However, it’s the multiple spoke styles and other options which draw customers and provide a solid, faithful following for Ride Wright, and the new Omega 30” wheel makes no exception.

These rims can be ordered in 40, 50, 60 and 80-spoke versions, with the spoke style being also customizable to suit the customer’s dreams or his bike’s overall styling and existing aftermarket add-ons. Twista, Diamond and Jewel spoke designs are also on the menu.

Modular hubs can be ordered in various colors, just like the spokes’ nipples. Obviously, the spoke and rim powder coat finish is also customizable, for perfect integration with the bike receiving this jaw-dropping 30” wheel.

According to the manufacturer, the new Omega is the lightest 30” wheel in the market, tipping the scales at only 29 lbs (13.1 kg). All Ride Wright Omega wheels are “classic style lip” and are made of steel, but the 30” one is crafted from 6061-T6 aluminium and comes with an exceptionally lightweight hoop and a 3-piece hub.

No price was mentioned for the Omega 30” wheels so you must check with Ride Wright for fitment, availability and pricing. So far Ride Wright offers wheels and parts for Baggers, Softails, Dynas and Yamaha machinery, but maybe they’ll add other cruisers to the roster.
