When it comes to cars commercials, we must say that we’ve seen some really good ones this year. Still, that doesn’t mean we don’t have some more and with celebrities as well.We’re talking about the well known English comedian and actor Ricky Gervais, in a few Audi adverts, for their new A3 model. So, since we’re talking about the “Invention of Lying” star, it was only natural to have something amusing.
In the first one, you’ll be able to see Gervais seated in the Audi A3 with a little girl in the backseat. The said girl begins to read out a series of mean tweets about the comedian. “Uncle Ricky,” as the girl calls him, just sits there listening to all the “beautiful” words addressed to him. When asked be the child, what it all means, Gervais simply answers that it means that he is “ doing something right.” After that, you’ll see the words “Whatever you do, stay uncompromised,” from Audi. Quite a nice touch there.
The second video called "Dues" ends with the same words but with has more celebrities, all doing a rendition of the famous Queen song called “We Are The Champions.” We must say it’s quite as, especially Gervais’ expression at the end of the add. Props to the guys from Audi for choosing Ricky Gervais and bringing some clever advertising ads.
