Hyundai has chosen to partner themselves for the third consecutive year with Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) in order to bring a unique car to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. For this year, RMR has customized Hyundai’s new flagship, the Equus luxury sedan.

The Rhys Millen Racing Signature Edition Equus has been extensively modified, bot on the outside and inside. The car now has a custom two-tone paintjob, with black carbon fiber topping Red Bull Racing blue satin. A myriad of aftermarket carbon fiber parts have also been added, including mirror caps, front chin and rear deck spoilers, grille and exhaust tips. The car now sports a set of 21 inch P40 wheels painted in metallic black. A 14 inch brake kit set can clearly bee seen behind the aforementioned wheels.

In order to improve the “go” of the car, RMR have fitted the Equus with a new air intake and aftermarket stainless steel exhaust, thus adding a total of 30 hp to the 385 it came with.

The interior of the car has been changed to suite the custom feel the car now has. RMR logos have been embroidered onto the headreasts and floor mats. Most striking of all are the seats that have the outside upholstered in ostrich skin and centers made of suede.

Hyundai’s flagship, the Equus, starts at $58,900 (EUR41,309) for the Signature version and $64,900 (EUR48,393) for the Ultimate. Both prices include a $900 destination charge as well as free maintenance for 5 years or 60,000 miles and the company's complimentary valet service.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
