Revamped 2012 BMW S 1000 RR Launched

BMW has taken the cores off the 2012 S 1000 RR, a new version of the bike that made them famous in the segment from its introduction back in 2009. The company says that the fresh bike comes to the fight packing better agility, response and riding precision.

The 1-liter engine in the bike still makes 193 horsepower, but the torque is delivered in a better way. The power delivery modes have now been increased to three, with riders now having one curve for each Rain and Sport modes and an additional one for Race and Slick.

The second gear of the bike has been shorted in order to boost acceleration, and the spring elements have also been revised.
