So you feel that the Audi R8 is the supercar for you and you must have it. You’re probably also considering customizing your R8 in order to squeeze more performance out of it and offer it a bespoke aura.

One of the ways to do this is hand it over to the guys at RENM, who have created a complex Australian modification program for the German vehicle.

Dubbed Enigma, the tuning kit covers both the V8 and the V10 incarnations of the R8, offering technical and aesthetic upgrades.

The vehicle's 4.2 liter V8 powerplant has received an ECU remap a carbon fiber air intake and performance exhaust. The result? 460 hp and 465 Nm. For those who feel the need for more, the tuner offers a supercharger kit, together with other upgrades. This brings the output to 530 hp and 600 Nm of torque.

The extra power can be handled by an optional racing-inspired suspension and tamed by a beefy braking system that uses 8-piston calipers for the front axle and 6-piston calipers for the rear one.

Moving to the mighty 5.2 liter V10 unit, we’ll tell you that RENM also offers multiple levels of tuning for the engine. The basic one brings it to 565 hp and 560 Nm, through the use of an ECU remap. Add high-flow air filters and a sports exhaust system and the output climbs up to 600 hp and 585 Nm.

The exhaust comes with special valves that allow the driver to select between cruise, sport and open (we’ll call this one “OUT OF MY WAY!”) modes.

The R8 gets to sit on 20 inch forged rims with carbon fiber insertions, with the vehicle receiving a carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser. The passengers are spoiled with carbon fiber trimming, while the driver gets to play with a steering wheel that uses carbon fiber and Alcantara.

If you’re a fan of the Spyder version of the Audi R8, don’t worry, the tuning house is also working to upgrade this model too. Be sure to check our site for a presentation of their project in November - expect the power to play in the 600 hp league.
