European carmakers are bracing for some of the worst market conditions in a long time, but when money is tight, budget-beaters usually do well and steal market share from their more expensive cousins. The next generation will likely either be previewed or full revealed at the 2012 Paris Auto Show in September, and should arrive on dealers’ lots early in 2013.
This hypothetical rendering, created by Russian online publication ZR.ru, shows not only the Dacia version, but also a Renault variant with a different grille and more rounded lights. We’re not exactly sure if the French version will really be that different, but it should fill the gap in the market that’s being created by the aging Clio sedan.

Dacia also has a new MPV called the Lodgy on the way. It should bow in Geneva next year, and will cost somewhere in the region of €14,000.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
