European carmakers are bracing for some of the worst market conditions in a long time, but when money is tight, budget-beaters usually do well and steal market share from their more expensive cousins. The next generation will likely either be previewed or full revealed at the 2012 Paris Auto Show in September, and should arrive on dealers’ lots early in 2013.
This hypothetical rendering, created by Russian online publication ZR.ru, shows not only the Dacia version, but also a Renault variant with a different grille and more rounded lights. Dacia also has a new MPV called the Lodgy on the way. It should bow in Geneva next year, and will cost somewhere in the region of €14,000.
