Who are we kidding, wondering if BMW will launch an M4 Gran Coupe model? Of course they will, and this is exactly how it’s going to look like.
You might ask how come we’re so sure but before you do just check what happened with the 6 Series Gran Coupe, the company’s first 4-door coupe and a precursor to this one. Got it? Yeah, they launched a crazy M6 Gran Coupe version that some claim is even better than the M5 Sedan.
That means that if BMW decides to go down the same road, they’ll probably hit a home run again, cannibalizing the sales of the Sedan M3, the Gran Coupe looking better and being a more ‘exotic’ choice.
The guys from RM.Design added a M face and rear to the body of a 4 Series Gran Coupe and the result was posted online as an M4 GC, looking pretty sharp in Mineral Grey, decked with matte black M 437 19” wheels and carbon ceramic brakes.
The engine under the bonnet of this presumed car would be the same 3-liter S55 inline 6-cylinder unit used by the M4 Coupe and M3 Sedan, making 431 HP and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque thanks to two turbochargers.
However, the o-100 km/h (62 mph) and the top speed might be slightly different than on the others due to the different design. We’ll just have to wait and see. Until then let us know if you like what you see here.
