Renault’s Twizy EV is undoubtedly a head turner, due to its oddball looks and the complete lack of noise associated with it. However, the kind of buyers it really appeals to are style-conscious city types who would love to just park it outside a posh cafe and have people look at it and appreciate them for being so green.
However, since these style-conscious people like a bit of personalization and individuality, the regular Twizy just won’t cut it. Well, now Renault is offering an Italy-only special edition of the Twizy, based on the Technic trim, called MomoDesign.
It gets its doors and some of the interior plastic pieces trimmed in faux-carbon fiber, the front and rear badges are now tinted-blue, and it gets plenty of MomoDesign badges all around the exterior. Also, for those extra-chilly Italian mornings, the car comes as standard with MomoDesing blanket and MomoDesign driving gloves, as well as MomoDesign seatbelt.
The offer only lasts this month, and the car is available for purchase at €9,900 in Italy, where it gets a €2,000 government rebate.
