Since we tested the Twizy last year, we know a lot about its practicality, or rather lack of it. There's a small glovebox for the driver behind the steering wheel and another small space behind the rear seat.
But today, Renault decided to fix that problem with a model called the Twizy Cargo. It ditches the rear seat, which was kind of crammed anyway, in favor of a boot accessible via a newly added door they installed at the back.

The boot lid hinges to the side and includes the stop lights. The cargo area you're presented with carries 180 liters or 75 kilograms, whichever comes first. It's not exactly an LCV like Renault calls it, but we think there are going pot be plenty of buyers who need to make small deliveries in big town using a zero emissions vehicle.

We think even regular buyers will be attracted to this model, especially people who want good mobility but are struggling with cargo areas of scooters.

In France, the Twizy Cargo is available in Life 45 trim from €8,080 or €8,780 for the 80, both prices including VAT.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
