The new Lexus IS is different in any possible way from its outgoing model, really stepping up to its rivals in the sport sedan class.
First of all, the new IS ditched the diesel engines along with the manual transmissions in order to prove that its ready to get ‘sportified’. Next, it got a new body frame welded with advanced techniques and a stiffer suspension to go better around corners. Also, its interior is more roomy and it’s garnished with high quality materials and geeky toys.
But probably the most striking change it has gone through is its new design that made us (at least me for sure) to place it in the living room and stare at it all day long. It may not be as powerful as its BMW or Mercedes rivals, but those lines, sharp edges and the aggressive spindle grille totally makes it stand out and speak for themselves.
