Two Lexus IS Tandem Drifting

Whoever said that Lexus is all about luxury and quiet interiors should take it back, because the first generation IS is one if the most rock-n-roll cars the Japanese automaker has ever made.
Relatively bold shaped, with straight lines and its distinctive split taillights, the 1998 Lexus IS begs for tuning parts and racing.

Apply black or other fancy body paint, put on some big shiny rims, lower it down a bit and if you do something to the engine, you end up with a mean little sedan that eats asphalt faster than a fat kid at McDallas’.

And with the right parts and driving skills, the IS can also go sideways pretty well, like you will see in the video bellow, where not one, but two such cars are tandem drifting. It’s a shame that it was filmed by a single camera and we don’t get much of a perspective...
