When you find yourself aboard a Ring Taxi, you can expect all sorts of insane things to come your way, such as other drivers engaging in a battle with the velocity cab taking you from Bridge to Gantry.
We wouldn't want anybody to be unprepared for such a stunt, which is why we've brought along the piece of footage at the bottom of the page. The clip, which was captured from inside a Renault Clio RS, shows the hot hatch pursuing an Audi R8 Ring Taxi for quite a while.
You'll get to see the first-generation R8 passing the third-gen Clio RS right after the French compact goes through the Carousel bend. That was the point when the guy behind the wheel of the spicy compact went into maximum attack mode.
The guy pushes the little Renault, which is animated by a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder mill to the limit while working to keep up with the V10 supercar.
And since Ring Taxi drivers rarely take their machines to 100 percent of their potential (the safety reasons preventing these are way too obvious to be discussed here), we ended up with one hell of a tight chase.
If you happen to be in a hurry, you should know that the chase we mentioned above kicks off at the 5:40 point of the clip.
Since we're talking this kind of Ring stunts, we'll remind you that earlier today we showed you a piece that qualifies for the "mother of Green Hell battles" title.
The adventure we're talking about involved a Porsche 911 going after a Mercedes-AMG GT. And the beasts weren't present on the infamous German circuit in street trim. Instead, we got to see their racing incarnations duking it out, with the 911 GT3 R chasing the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in a majestic piece of track action.
