A fluid spill that takes place during a Nurburgring VLN race, in the Schwedenkreuz corner, is almost guaranteed to cause at least one accident. And the Porsche-kickstarted incident we're here to show you, which comes from yesterday's race, is no exception to this.
Schwedenkreuz could be labeled as the most dangerous twist of the Green Hell, given the combination between the long straight that precedes it and its downhill nature.

And when a Porsche 911 racer lost fluid entering this twist, it didn't take long before another racecar, namely a Mini, came spinning into the corner.

Unfortunately, the Mini hit the protection elements on both sides of the track. As you'll get to see at the end of the clip, the compact machine suffered extremely heavy damage.

The video also shows a Porsche 911 racecar that enters the frame after having sustained serious damage, with the Neunelfer potentially being another victim of the said spill. Fortunately, the Zuffenhausen animal doesn't even come close to the level of damage sustained by the poor Mini we mentioned above.

The VLN race that took place yesterday seems to have been dominated by fluid spill-generated accidents

Alas, the ka-bang action you see here was far from the most intense fluid spill-caused incident that took place during yesterday's VLN crash.

That time goes to the monster accident we discussed earlier today, which saw four cars getting smashed in a massive incident that demanded a red flag.

In fact, the latter crash is one of the fiercest Nurburgring racing accidents we've seen in quite a while, at least as far as the number of machines involved in a single incident.

Fortunately, none of the drivers involved in the accident was injured, which, given the circumstances, shouldn't be taken lightly.
