The redesigned 2015 Hyundai Genesis four-door sedan, which is set to go on sale next year, will be introduced at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, scheduled in January.
"You will see the Genesis at the Detroit auto show," Hyundai Motor America's senior group manager of product planning Brandon Ramirez told Edmunds, without giving further details about the future executive vehicle.
However, our source claims that the new Genesis will receive new exterior styling based on Hyundai’s new fluidic sculpture design language and will gain several interior updates for a “richer-looking” cabin. Also, the Korean sedan, which is aimed at BMW’s 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz’s C-Class, will also be offered with an all-wheel-drive option.
Getting back to the exterior styling, a company representative denied that the HCD-14 Genesis concept showed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show will be seen in the sedan’s next production version. Nonetheless, Hyundai claims that we “will see hints of that design in future products”.
