Hyundai’s coupe concept HND-9 debuted this week at the Seoul Motor Show and it previews the next generation Genesis Coupe.
Strongly indicating that it may be a next-gen Genesis, is the powertrain, which consists of a direct-injected turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine, mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine boasts 363 horsepower that goes only to the rear axle.

Designed in Namyang, Korea, Hyundai’s ninth concept car is 4.7 meters (15.4 ft) long, 1.89 meters (6.2 ft) wide and 1.3 meters (4.4 ft) high, the wheelbase measuring 2.8 meters (9.4 ft). The rear-drive coupe features fluid surfaces, with harmonious lines that stretch on it’s whole length. The front fascia is characterized by a large hexagonal radiator grille and sharp angled headlights. Butterfly doors, sculptural rear combination headlights and dual pipes placed on both sides makes the car look futuristic and sleek.

Same modern and luxurious feel is present at the interior too, featuring seats made of a special mesh that project different colors and a driver-oriented dashboard modeled make you fell like a jet fighter pilot.
