American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor Ray J was recently seen taking his new Rolls Royce Ghost for a spin, and maybe do a spot of shopping.
It is odd, however, how the mind of the rich and famous celebrity works. How come everybody is getting the Ghost instead of the (recently refreshed, by the way) Phantom which is the epitome of luxury motoring. They opt for this fake Roller built on top of a stretched 7-Series chassis, instead of the fully-fledged Phantom, a bespoke car built only with custom bits made specially for it (most of them made in Germany, but bespoke nevertheless).
Are these people not rich enough to buy the bigger Roller, or even a Bentley Mulsanne, instead of the Ghost, which may be a very competent luxury car, but then again so is the BMW 7-Series, which in long wheelbase guise and with all the options boxes ticked (and there are many) it’s still around half as expensive as the ‘fake’ Roller.
