Rare BMW M1 with AHG Package

When it comes to retro supercars, the BMW M1 enjoys a very special place among the royalty list. That’s not because it was particularly fast or handled like it was on rails, but because it’s their first and last mid-engined supercar. The car ows its cool lines to Giorgeto Giugiaro and with some mechanical inspiration taken from Lamborghini.
Between 1978, the year of its presentation, and 1981, the year it was taken out of production, only 455 units were build. But this Bavarian bully is even more special than that, as it’s one of only ten received the AHG package.

This was designed to boost the 3.5-liter engine’s output from 277 hp to a more respectable 350 horsepower. In addition to this, the M1 has got a new ront spoiler, wider front and rear fenders, side skirts, special rear wing plus adjustable suspension. The Bavarian masterpiece was spotted in LA by CarsandCoffeIrvine.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
