The second richest figure in hip hop business (after Dr. Dre’s Apple huge deal), Sean Combs is getting the last details ready for his last MMM album he has been working for the last months. Diddy recently posted an image with him sitting on the hood of his BMW 2002 tii, quoting “There can only be 1 of us!” Considering his album we’re wondering if he meant the German car or himself.
44-year old Sean Combs is once again reinventing himself, claiming to use his old stage name Puff Daddy, the one that brought him fame and fortune. So much fortune (Forbes estimated Combs’ net worth at $700 million, this year) that he was, until recently, the wealthiest rapper on the market. But with Dr. Dre selling his Beats to Apple, P Diddy will have to sit in the line and exchange “rich punches” with all the other artist out there.
Anyway, the car Puff put his backside on is one of the many expensive four-wheelers the three-time Grammy Awards-winner posses. As far as we can tell, it’s a1978 pre-1974 model of the beauty BMW 2002 tii. And that is one German “bastard” we like.
It comes with the fuel injected 131 horsepower engine from the 2000 tii offering a top speed of 115mph (185 km/h). This car was also very successful in racing and Hans Stuck won the Nurburgring 24-hour race in 1970 with it.
We’re not sure whether Combs posing next to the red BMW means he’ll be racing his career through success or he has some good-time memories with it, but we’ll be honest with you, he could’ve just stuck to the stock features instead of getting it all pimped-up.
