Proton UK Announces Price Cut on Satria Neo Models

In an effort to increase sales in the UK, Malaysian automaker Proton decided to make some pricing adjustments in the respective market, addressing for now to the Satria Neo models only. Specifically, Proton Cars UK is offering a saving of £1,700 to motorists who decide to buy a new Satria Neo (Sport or GSX).

Proton brags.

Satria Neo comes equipped with a 1.6-liter Lotus-developed CamPro 16v engine coupled with a five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic. The unit is capable of developing 111 bhp (1.6 manual transmission) and can propel the car to a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h).

Other features include 16” alloy wheels (GSX models only), electric windows, reverse parking sensors and rear spoiler all as standard and accompanied by prominent wheel arches, a centre mounted exhaust and race-inspired bucket seats. The model also comes with ABS, EBD and twin airbags as standard.
