In case you haven’t heard already, Lexus is gaining up on its luxury rivals by putting out more cooler cars. The 2014 IS sedan woowed everyone with its outlandish design and now the NX crossover and the RC coupe are continuing to boost the company’s image. But more awesomeness is still to come.
As previously reported, Lexus plans to fill up its range with an even smaller crossover and also bring back the old SC. Well, not quite the SC, but a similar 2 + 2 grand coupe based on the LF-LC concept.

While details are scarce at the moment regarding the two upcoming cars, a new report from MotorTrend says that the production LC will be powered by the same 5-liter V8 engine in the new RC F; only that it will boasts two turbochargers that ramps up the output to around 600 hp.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Lexus might plan a new branch of high performance cars, similar to Mercedes-Benz’s Black Series. Although we advise you to take this with a bit of salt, the same report says a new RC FS might come in 2017, housing the twin-turbo V8 too, with the “FS” badge appearing to be the name of the upcoming extra-performance branch.
